Day #5

A song that reminds me of someone??

The easiest route for this post would be to put a song or two that remind me of my bestie. 

Well I guess that's what I will do :)

There is always this song, but this song is good too. And who could forget this one :) 

I Miss This....

My phone doesn't take the best, most high res. photos out there, but I think you can catch my drift. :)

On a different note, I'm really excited for my job interview tomorrow. I just wish it wasn't at 5pm so I don't have to wait all day. Hopefully all goes well. :)

And On another different note..... I might be getting a CAR sometime in the next few months :D

Just Had to Post This :)

So, I saw a post someone made on fb.... Totally reminded me of my best friend... Not that I think she is obsessed or freaky but.... It just made me think about her and how much fun we have when we are together :)

Weekend Shenanigans :)

So, over the course of the weekend I did a couple of things....

#1 Got my DRIVER'S LICENSE!!!

#2 Saw a "True Grit" with the best friend. (I'm not quite sure if the movie intended to be hilarious, but to the two of us, yeah it was pretty dang funny!)

#3 Went to singles ward again for the first time since I have been home.... I'm not super fond of going to singles ward, but I guess its better than going to church with my parents. 

Then on Monday (which I do realize is not the weekend) I hung out with Cate and ran errands with her, no matter what we do, we always have fun together :)

Now for the rest of the week?? I need to get a job ASAP.... I didn't even get out of my pj's until like 1 this afternoon. And then I just sit around and fart around on my computer all day and get ringtones for my phone like this one http://www.myxer.com/ringtone:795225/ for when Cate calls me, and I have several other stupid ones too :)

Quote Wall

So Cate and I have been maintaining a quote wall of all the stupid, random, or totally rude things that we have said. And as the semester is practically over, I thought it might be nice to take some pictures and post them on my blog. So, here they are.

I Think the End of the Semester Finally Got to Us!!

Well the semester is finally ending, and I think all the stress has made us a little bit on the loopy side. As Cate and I watched Braveheart last night, we were so slap-happy that we laughed through a majority of the movie, making jokes about the people being killed, and what we thought might be going through the minds of the horses running on the battle field. Making jokes like, " This red stuff isn't ketchup!?!?!" and  "I just wanna eat some grass!!!" or "Shishkabob!" "Spear to the Chest!!!" We were laughing our heads off :)

We have been having lots of fun quoting movies like crazy, and we are gonna watch The Sandlot tonight with Cory and Nick, probably because they want us to stop quoting it :P

Cate and I even have a Theme Song now. Its pretty legit.

Can't wait until the semester is over and I can spend some real time at home with the people I love <3

Old Lady Besties

Okay we have decided that these little old ladies in the picture is gonna be Cate and I when we get to be that old :) We are gonna be neighbors too, :P I call being the one in the red sweater!! I'm so grateful that I met her!! I don't know what I would do here without her :)

I'm glad that we can talk crap together, and make fun of the stupid things we say. I wonder if these old ladies do the same thing?? Probably not as much, or as harshly as we do :P But thats okay, at least we think we are funny!

Once upon a time, 
There was a girl named Courtney. 
She moved to a tiny, little town named Thatcher. 
On her first night there, she met a super cool girl named Cate.
Cate and Courtney became BEST FRIENDS :)
One day, Cate told Courtney that she had to stay home after the semester ended. 
This made Courtney very, very sad.
Then Cate told Courtney that she should come home and live with her. 
Courtney thought it would be fun, but she didn’t know what her parents would say about it. 
She told her parents, and didn’t think it would happen. 
But the more Cate and Courtney hung out, the more Courtney realized that she didn’t want to live without Cate.
It became even harder for Courtney to choose after she met Cate’s amazing family. 
Now the semester is coming to an end. 
Courtney still hasn’t decided, but she wants Cate to know this…
That no matter what she chooses, whenever she chooses, that Courtney will ALWAYS be there to love Cate, no matter what, and that Courtney knows how amazing Cate is, and that there will never be another girl like Cate, EVER!! Courtney also wants Cate to know that she will always be there to help Cate, no matter what time it is, or where she is at. This story has no end, because Cate and Courtney plan to live happily ever after together, forever, no matter what.

This first semester of college has been no less than an interesting experience. I have done some crazy new things, met some amazing people that I will never forget, and learned how to live without someone telling me how to do so.

I never imagined who I would meet or who I would become close to, I am so glad I have someone I can call my Best Friend. I am so grateful to have Cate in my life. Now that we are friends, I don't know what I would do without her. I definitely wouldn't be the some person. I definitely wouldn't be having as much fun. She is the better half to my crazy self. I am soo grateful that the Lord put her in my life! She influences me more than she will ever realize. I don't want to know where I would be without her! Love you Cate!!!
