I can't believe that the 30 day challenge is over! I honestly thought that I wouldn't be consistantly posting every day, but I did it and I'm so glad that it's over lol.... Now to get back to posting "important" stuff!! Lol

A song from my childhood...

Growing up my mom would play Dixie Chicks in the car. And other assorted country music, or what ever happened to be playing on Radio Disney :) lol those were the days!!

A song that makes me feel guilty??

Hmmm.... I don't think there is one.... I don't think I ever really feel guilty. At least there isn't a song that can make me feel that way :) I like to own what I do no matter how much trouble it gets me in :) lol

A song that I can play on an actual instrument....

Well, that seriously limits my song choices, considering the fact that I can't read music.

The only song I can play, happens to be on the piano, and I can only play one hand, one note at a time. And it happens to be the Sesame Street Theme Song. I know, super lame right??? But at least I can say that I have something to post :)

A song that makes me laugh??? Probably the Larry the Cable Guy Christmas carols... It's not really a song.... More like a slew of fake ones... But reguardless, it makes me laugh, amongst many, many other songs :)

A song I want to play at my funeral??

Well, to be honest, I haven't thought too terribly much about that little event... Cause I don't have to plan it :) But seriously, I want my funeral to be a happy thing. I don't want sadness because I am gone, but happiness that I was here, and that I am in a much better place.... So at my funeral, I want someone to play that song "If your happy and you know it" :) And I want it to be sung until everyone in the room is convinced that they are indeed happy... Even if they have to make up verses. :)

A song I want to play at my wedding.

Well this list could be extremely longer than necessary ......Because nowadays, I hear a cute song on the radio, and think, "Hey, that could be cute to play at my wedding....if it ever happens.." :)

But this song is for sure, I want it :)

Day #21

A song I listen to while driving. 

Most of these posts don't have a story to go along with them, but this one does:

Okay, so picture this: I had to go pick up my sister from school right. So I forgot what time school got out, so I left really really early. I'm sitting in the parking lot, just waiting for that final bell to ring, my iPod is on shuffle, and I'm just letting the music happen. When all of a sudden this song comes on. 

And so it starts, and I'm singin' along (maybe a little dancin' too) when the chorus hits. 

And I am scream-singing like you couldn't even imagine. 

Then all of a sudden, yeah you guessed it, school let out. My radio was up so loud that I didn't hear that final bell ringing. So I'm belting like no other (which probably sounded quite awful) and all the high school chitlins start walking out of the buildings and some of them saw me, and knew exactly what I was doing. I'm sure that there was some level of hysterical laughter, but I couldn't hear it. 

Then I get that odd feeling like when you know someone is watching you. So I turn to my right, and there they are. Laughing. Then they realize that I saw them laughing at me, and swiftly walk away, probably to continue their laughter. 

And there I sat. Music still blaring, just a tad bit embarrassed. But then the song ended and the next one began playing, and I moved on with the music. :)

Well I don't really know how to describe myself in music form......
I don't think one song has the ability to capture all the personality bursting out of my soul, or at least I can't think of one. That's why this post is up so late, because in my opinion, one thing can't describe me. :)
But if you can think of something that I may have missed, leave a comment... I would love to hear your opinions :)

A song no one would expect me to love......

Well, I guess it's time for the World Wide Web to know that......

I LOVE LADY ANTEBELLUM :] 

It makes me happy, a lot happy. 

And most people that know my know that I'm not super duper down with Country music, but Lady A is just fan-freakin-tastic :)

Nothing better than dancing in your pj's and singing obnoxiously loud to Lady Antebellum, only if no one else is home of course :)

A song that is my guilty pleasure??? Uhm..... I'm not quite sure I understand the assignment. 

Or maybe I just don't have a conscience, cause if this is supposed to be a song that I don't want people to know that I listen to, I don't think I could ever find one. I am very comfortable with my musical selections.... Granted, there is certain music that I won't play in certain company. But that in no way means I don't want them to know that I listen to it. 

And I don't want to go down the other alley of a "guilty pleasure"...... ( I don't have one of those either. (just for the record) That would be weird.)

Song by a band I hate......

I must say, I don't hate many artists, groups, or bands, but there is one group that I would rather shoot myself in the face than listen to....

Kids Bop. 

Completely and entirely useless. For those of you that haven't had the misfortune of hearing Kids Bop, it is basically a large chorus of ankle biters performing a slew of top of the chart hits. It has the ability to ruin pretty much any song out there.
I refuse to post a link to one of there wretched recordings. Look them up if you have the desire to know what having your ears bleed feels like. :) lol

A song that reminds me of a certain event. 

It would probably have to be this song......

I know what you are probably thinking?? "There isn't another song on the face of this planet that you could have chose??" To answer that... Nope :)

This song reminds me of my freshman year of high school, it was the first dance I ever went to. It was pretty sweet, we had a black light dance. And this was one of the only songs that I remember because one of the guys in our group was singing the unedited version of this song over the edited version... It was pretty funny.... Definitely something I will never forget :)

On another note, I have another job interview for Friday.... 

Kinda nervous, I could potentially be making a lot of money.... But I don't know if I would be any good at selling men's suits and stuff.... And it's a little farther away than I would like to be working.....All the way out at Val Vista and Baseline. Although, I could get to see some cute guys :) Or creepy old men, but I won't think about that aspect... lol
