A song that reminds me of someone??

The easiest route for this post would be to put a song or two that remind me of my bestie. 

Well I guess that's what I will do :)

There is always this song, but this song is good too. And who could forget this one :) 

Can Everything Just Go Back to the Way it Was??

I'm officially sick of living at home. Not that I hate my family or anything, because that is the furthest thing from the truth. I'm not sick of them, I'm just sick of being home ALL the time. Pretty sure the job interview was a bust. They said they would call whether that wanted a second interview or not, but they still haven't called. And they have called people for interviews, cause my cousin got a call back. So no more job prospects. Am I bound to sit at home for an entire semester?? I sure as heck hope not. I would't last the entire semester if that's the case. 

I wanna go back to Thatcher soo bad. At least when I was there I had class to go to. These days I just sit home in my pj's until I feel pathetic enough to change into normal clothes. I'm done with this. I'm done with Gilbert.

Oh yeah.... Day #4 of the music challenge..... I don't really have a song that makes me sad. I don't get sad very often.  So, sorry for the disappointment, if there even was one.

A song that makes me happy??
Lots of songs make me happy..... but which one to post??
I guess I would have to say the Guided Relaxation Dub by Borgore......
It's a newer style of music called Dubstep.....it has a vague resemblance to techno.....
But I like to headbang to this song..... so its kinda like head banging techno.....
Don't knock it 'til you try it.... it's pretty sweet :)

My least favorite song. Hmph..... well I don't know if I have a least favorite..... but if I did, it would probably be anything by Hannah Montana. Or Taylor Swift. Gag me with a fork.  :) lol

So I got the idea off this blog I follow.... My favorite song, that is a tough one.... but I just may have to say that its Rhythm of Love by Plain White T's :) Got it from my cousin, and I love to rock out to it with my air guitar in hand and my headphones turned all the way up 

I Miss This....

My phone doesn't take the best, most high res. photos out there, but I think you can catch my drift. :)

On a different note, I'm really excited for my job interview tomorrow. I just wish it wasn't at 5pm so I don't have to wait all day. Hopefully all goes well. :)

And On another different note..... I might be getting a CAR sometime in the next few months :D

I've Found Myself Another Internet Based Distraction.

Stumbleupon. 

Yes, this is my newest distraction. As if I need anymore of those.... But I found some of the funniest, wackiest, awe inspiring, and thought provoking things there. 

For instance.....

Astronauts are not allowed to eat beans before they go into space because passing wind in a spacesuit damages them. Not to mention the other drawback to passing gas in such a confined space....

I also watched a video of someone singing the song "Forget You" By Cee Lo Green in sign language, well I guess she wasn't technically singing it, but it was still cool. Oh and BTW, it wasn't the clean version that says forget you. So I learned how to say some really naughty words in sign language. Not sure how useful that will ever be, but I guess its just one more weird thing that I will have up my sleeve. lol

Latest Happenings :)

So as I was up late one night, endlessly applying for jobs online, I decided to apply at my dream job, in the most ideal location ever. 

You probably think I'm a psycho. Actually WANTING to work at that child filled crazy place, with lots and lots of stuffed animals..... Yeah I may be just a little bit crazy. But nonetheless I applied there anyways.

So then the next day, I was chillin on the couch, I believe I was watching the latest Biggest Loser episode, and the phone starts to ring. My brother goes and looks at the phone, checking the caller-id. "Build-A-Bear Workshop?" My face lights up :) (I look like I'm some little kid that heard that Santa Claus is on the phone, and he wants to talk to me) He looks at me and says, "It's for you."

Pure excitement comes over me as I take the phone. The woman on the phone tells me that they got my online application, and that they are having a group interview next Wednesday. She asks me if I would like to go. In my head I'm thinking, "Uh, duh lady.... Is a pig's butt pork?!?!" But obviously I wouldn't say that. I then proceed to tell her that I would love to go to this interview. So she tells me that the interview starts at 5:00, but I need to be there 15 minutes early so I can fill out a paper application. 

So I hang up the phone, and was soo happy. All I could think about was how I might just possibly be getting my dream job. And how absolutely awesome that would be!!! So hopefully, the interview goes well, and all my wildest dreams will come true. Haha. 

It is nice to think that I might have a job shortly. Cause this whole sitting around the house in my pj's all day thing, is getting quite, shall I say stale? Yeah stale sounds good to me.

So, I saw a post someone made on fb.... Totally reminded me of my best friend... Not that I think she is obsessed or freaky but.... It just made me think about her and how much fun we have when we are together :)

I Can't Believe I Let it Take Control of Me....

So I was chillin' on Facebook this morning, and I saw a post that someone made about this concert coming up in April. 

You would think, oh its just a concert, nothing bad could come of this right??? Wrong!!!!

If you didn't look at the link for the concert, said concert is known as a little shindig called Country Thunder. 

I saw it and immediately thought,"Ooooh!!! That sounds awesome, I wanna go!!" Then I proceed to check who is playing, and I look through the list and I think, "I know who that is, and they are good, and oh I really like them. This is gonna be a wicked sweet concert!!"

Then it hit me, like a ton of bricks. 

I just got excited for a country music concert..... What on earth has this world come to, letting me get all excited for country music. If I had the cajones to slap myself, I'm pretty sure I would have. 

I guess country music is just one more thing I have learned to appreciate since I met my wonderful best friend :)

Weekend Shenanigans :)

So, over the course of the weekend I did a couple of things....

#1 Got my DRIVER'S LICENSE!!!

#2 Saw a "True Grit" with the best friend. (I'm not quite sure if the movie intended to be hilarious, but to the two of us, yeah it was pretty dang funny!)

#3 Went to singles ward again for the first time since I have been home.... I'm not super fond of going to singles ward, but I guess its better than going to church with my parents. 

Then on Monday (which I do realize is not the weekend) I hung out with Cate and ran errands with her, no matter what we do, we always have fun together :)

Now for the rest of the week?? I need to get a job ASAP.... I didn't even get out of my pj's until like 1 this afternoon. And then I just sit around and fart around on my computer all day and get ringtones for my phone like this one http://www.myxer.com/ringtone:795225/ for when Cate calls me, and I have several other stupid ones too :)

100 Random Things About Me...

Okay, so I got this idea from a blog that I find funny (very very raunchy and dirty sometimes, but funny none the less) FYI, I don't read it all the time, just kinda when I'm in the mood to laugh or I have nothing else to do with my life.  So it inspired me to write down 100 random facts about myself, so here I go...

1. I can't stand it when people spell things wrong, drives me up a wall. I do understand typos and overlook them. But people spelling the same word wrong constantly is something I can't stand. I purposely make sure I spell check my text messages, FB posts and emails for this very reason. But still some how, very rarely, they still sneak up on me.
2. I don't like it when things are stuck to the bottom of my feet. Like when you go to the kitchen in the middle of the night and step on crumbs that were left on the ground, and they just decide to stick, yeah I hate that. I have to wipe it off, sand isn't that fun either.
3. I'm convinced that I have ADHD, even though I have never been "Medically Diagnosed"
4.I keep everything, not like a hoarder or anything, but I just like to hold on to things that may be useful in the future or could make me laugh. But I don't ever keep any school related things, just useless stuff like notes, birthday cards and flyers, mostly useless things that just take up space in my room that I don't have at the moment.
5. I am extremely klutzy, for no apparent reason.
6. I am super obsessed with lighters, especially for one who doesn't smoke at all. I think the count is to about 14ish with one that burns a green flame, and one thats reddish/pink.
7. I could spend forever in the shower, literally hours and hours. It's my thinking place :)
8. I'm a lover, not a fighter. But, if you mess with someone I love, you are screwed.
9. I have been singing and performing since I was 6 years old, and 12 years later I still can't read music to save my life.
10. I love to spoon and cuddle, with practically anyone. It's a creepy trait that I inherited from some of my high school friends that I can't get rid of.
11. I won't eat spaghetti with the sauce on it. I will eat different pasta with the same sauce, it just can't look like spaghetti.
12. I love duct tape, and especially duct tape wallets :)
13. I am a photographer that knows absolutely nothing about my camera, or any of the camera mumbo-jumbo that goes along with it.
14. I won't eat cereal with milk in it, nor do I like to eat the sugary cereals, just stuff like cheerios (plain kind) and shredded wheat. It's weird....
15. When someone asks me if I speak Spanish, I always say "a little". And it's true. I know numbers, colors, months, days, and a few choice phrases. Such as, "Where's my monkey" and "I have a big cat in my pants". Why I remember those phrases instead of the more important ones I learned in two years of Spanish is up for debate.
16. My shopping weaknesses include sunglasses, lighters, and very stupid, random and otherwise useless things. 
17. I have gotten really good at using my "selective hearing" when talking to my little brother, he could have an entire conversation with out me catching a word of it :)
18. I can't stand Harry Potter. Its garbage, pure garbage. Along with Twilight, and all that other fictional nonsense. 
19. I refuse to read anything. Menus I can do.... but basically nothing else. Not even as an assignment for a class. 
20. I don't like my voice on recordings, I realize that's how everybody else hears it, but I think I sound like a man. I simply prefer the voice that only I hear. 
21. I have lost about 20 or 30lbs since I started college. Don't know how, or exactly where it has gone to, but I think I may find them all soon. 
22. I graduated high school solely on the fact that people like me. I did absolutely nothing in practically all my academic classes, especially my senior year. 
23. I have had a guy stalk me every year of my life since about the 6th grade. My freshman year of high school I had two at the same time (which were both legal adults), and they both knew about and helped each other. I have since been scarred for life, and am afraid to have a real relationship with a guy, just to avoid any possible chances of it happening again. 
24. I rarely ever get sick. 
25. I love all types of music, from gangster rap to screamo, techno to country, I love it all. Music will forever have a place in my heart. 
26. I have never cried while watching a movie.
27. I have broken both of my ankles and both of my wrists. I didn't brake my ankles at the same time, but with my wrists I did. 
28. I love doing crazy things. I guess one could call me a thrill seeker. 
29. I can't stand the thought of being perceived as vulnerable. No matter what it is, something as stupid as wearing my knee brace in public, to crying about anything. It doesn't strike me as vulnerability when other people do things like that, its just me. 
30. I love listening to music while I do math, it makes me calm down and focus. But its the exact opposite with english. 
31. I constantly wear bandannas. I love them. People always tell me I look like a "BA" with them on :)
32. I love tie dye and peace signs. I am a Hippie Child and I am proud of it!!
33. I have never successfully pulled an all nighter, I always fall asleep. 
34. According to my mother, I tie my shoes like a first grader. 
35. I am super afraid of snakes, for no apparent reason. 
36. I am extremely forgetful, and easily confused. 
37. I am "directionally challenged." 
38. It is really hard to piss me off, if you ever happen to, I give you props. 
39. I am overly independent, and obnoxiously stubborn about it. 
40. I'm not really a movie person, I tend to fall asleep or become completely disconnected from the storyline. I don't really have the attention span to watch most movies. 
41. I don't like to talk about what's bothering me. 
42. I am the worst at making decisions that involve other people, if its just me I have no problem. 
43. My favorite colors are teal, yellow, and hot pink. In that order. 
44. I think that making a bed is pointless if you live alone. 
45. I feel bad walking out of a store if I haven't bought anything. 
46. The best way for me to tell people exactly how I feel is to write it down and leave them a little note, which are never very little. 
47. I love pringles. 
48. I am extremely meticulous when editing film or photos, but especially film. 
49. I love to listen to music really loudly and sing at the top of my lungs, especially when I drive. 
50. I once put a pop-tart in the microwave, with the wrapper still on it. Needless to say I learned rather quickly that I shouldn't do that. 
51. My " I shouldn't say that Filter" doesn't work that well. 
52. I am a very "go with the flow" person. I hardly ever make plans, unless its absolutely necessary. 
53. I do my best work late at night. 
54. My attention span is very, very short. Especially in class. 
55. I have a tendency to Facebook creep, not intentionally, it just happens, and I end up doing it for excessive amounts of time. 
56. I have a very, very loud and distinctive laugh. 
57. When I'm nervous, I can't sit still to save my life. Just constantly fidgeting. 
58. I love to play Air Guitar and Air Drums. 
59. Shopping for bras and undies is extremely embarrassing.  
60. I love the movies that are so dumb that its funny, everything else gets kinda boring. Unless I'm in the right company :)
61. I want to be like "Dr. House" one day. 
62. I am extremely sarcastic and rude, and I like to mock people's stupid comments. 
63. I almost never carry a purse, cause that's what pockets are for. 
64. I really like to burn things. Sometimes I'm afraid I will burn down a building. 
65. I almost never know what day it is, because they all just blend together. 
66. I'm practically convinced that my little brother is gay. But I always get in trouble for voicing that opinion. 
67. I love to cook. Anything. I am always up for a challenge. 
68. I'm not a very good liar, and I'm okay with that.

70. I often feel like I have no one to turn to, but I know I do, I just feel like they don't want to listen to me complain and be upset. 
71. I am a Notre Dame Football fan, even though I am Mormon and I live in Arizona. 
72. I have never snuck out. 
73. I love to know how many friends I have on Facebook, not that Facebook is super important or anything. 
74. I don't like seeing the little white thing on the edges of my nails as they grow, so I constantly cut them. 
75. I love to laugh, at anything or anyone, just as long as I can laugh. 
76. I once shared a milkshake with eleven people. That's right, eleven.
77. By the time I was 11, my mother wouldn't leave the house unless I had a bra on. 
78. I have a garbage bag under my bed FULL of stuffed animals, and I have no idea what to do with them. 
79. I love my best friend with all of my heart, I know that's a given, but I figured it should be somewhere on this list. 
80. When I blow dry my hair it gets really poofy, like afro status, so I never do it. 
81. I don't think that I have ever shaved my legs perfectly in my whole life. I always miss a spot. 
82. I  am very easily startled, so I jump at anything and everything. 
83. I really want to be a high school choir director. 
84. I watch really weird things on tv, like when they cut up the dead bodies to figure out how they died, its kinda odd considering the fact that I'm generally a happy person. 
85. I'm almost positive that I could not go a whole day with out smiling or laughing. Same thing goes for sarcasm. 
86. I like to wear brightly colored underwear because it makes me happy. 
87.Part of me still wishes that I was going back to college for the spring semester.... But I am having fun at home. 
88. Sometimes I fear that I will  never get married, or at least not until I am really old. 
89. My hands are always cold. 
90. I am the quietest one at my house, but my laugh is by far, the loudest. 
91. I could spend hours just laying in bed listening to music... and it wouldn't even phase me. 
92. I don't ever wear matching socks.
93. I don't like flat sheets, only fitted. Flat sheets just end up at the bottom of my bed
94. I haven't quite figured out why I have and use this blog. 
95. I probably have about 6 functioning email addresses, but I only really use two.
96. I only look at magazines for the pictures. 
97. I am a very heavy sleeper. I once slept through the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night at  home. 
98. When I was 10, I got bit in the face by a dog. And I have the scar to prove it. 
99. If I could wear sweat pants all the time, I would. 
100. I have always wanted to learn how to skateboard. I have no idea why.

Oh New Years Eve :)

2010 was pretty good to me. I graduated from high school, became a legal adult, tried my hand at higher education, and got an amazing bestie who I would be lost without :) I'm glad a good year went out with an even better bang last night.

New Years Eve is an awesome time for pyro's like me :) We get to light things on fire, and watch them spit out more fire and blow up! Besides getting to spend time with family and friends, which is always a plus, playing with lighters is always the way to go.... even if you get burned by sparklers :) I gotta say, if 2011 is anything like last night, then its bound to be one rockin' year!! Only thing that would have made it better was to have the lovely best friend with me. But I'm glad she got some probably much needed time with her man :)
